Last year we had such a great response to our Christmas Concert Bake Sale, we would like to do it again at this year’s concert on December 17 @ 6pm.

In order to make this event a success, we are once again reaching out to all parents and caregivers who are able to contribute to this wonderful cause.

If you enjoy baking, we kindly ask if you could consider donating a dozen or two of your favorite holiday treats. Baked goods/treats can be dropped off at PCS on the 16th or 17th in a festive Christmas or holiday themed container. (If you cannot find a container or packaging at our local dollar store, the PC will have some extras and can organize them into tins for sale on the evening of the Christmas concert.)

Your support and generosity will be greatly appreciated, and it will certainly contribute to the success of this event!

If you haven’t registered yet, follow the steps below to get started….

· Complete the rest of the registration form.

· Click the "Register Now" button at the bottom

· Follow the instructions to add each child at PCS

· Once your child(ren) are registered, click on "Orders"

· Proceed to order hot lunch for your child(ren)

So, place your order, send payment to the school and the admin will record your payment.

Payment Options: e-transfers to PAC @peacechristianschool.ca (not office), cash, cheques (payable to PCS Parent Committee), or your family may choose to access the FFBC (Feeding Futures Fund BC) – government grant funds given to schools to help reduce the challenges of rising food costs for families who need it most.

Once the admin has recorded your payment, you will receive a confirmation email stating payment has been posted to your account. If payment is not received, we will confirm by text that your family is choosing to access the FFBC: Feeding Futures BC funds for account payment.

Good to Know

• Report cards are being emailed home (yesterday and today). Please respond to the email so we know that you have received it. If you have questions about the report, feel free to reach out to the teacher responsible for the class you are wondering about.

• On Dec 19, we encourage parents to come pick up their children (and their goods!) from school. There will be one shuttle bus to town for those who need a ride.

Our school is starting to look like Christmas! Our house teams and service blocks have put up fun decorations. Pastor Neil even led us in Feliz Navidad this morning, even though he thinks it’s too early for the season 🙂

• MyEd BC has made accessing information easier! For Gr 7-12 students and families, logging into MyEd is the best way to see which assignments are missing and what the current class grades are. Now logging in with a phone is now much more user friendly and class information can be easily found. We encourage you to give it a try and you can watch the Student & Family Portal Introduction Video which may be helpful. Please reach out if you need help with your password or sit down with your child and have them login beside you.

Hello Families,

I’m grateful for our team at PCS! We have a great group of teachers, staff, and admin and they held down the fort well this week. I have been away in meetings, collaborating with other principals, learning, and advocating for our teachers and students. It was a good week but it will also be good to be back next week!

The hot lunch online order system requires a small amount of setup time at the beginning as you must register each child you have attending our school prior to ordering hot lunch. Once the initial setup process is complete, your hot lunch orders for the remainder of the year should be quick and simple.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is retake day by Lifetouch pictures. If you would like your elementary student K-6 to have a retake please
notify the teacher in Bloomz (prefered) or text the office line. Please make sure to tell your 7-12 student(s) if you would like them to have a retake and
