Good morning, Parents & Caregivers,
Just a reminder that our Parent Committee AGM is coming up on Tuesday, September 29th at 5pm at PCS.
Our board is looking to fill the following Executive positions:
President
Vice President
Treasurer,
Secretary
Hot Lunch Organizer
Board positions & volunteer work are a great way to keep your resume up to date during a gap in employment (new motherhood, relocation, reassessing career) and shows future employers you are ambitious, team-oriented, community focused and care about helping others
We are also looking for 6-8 more hot lunch volunteers. We have very low numbers on the sign-up sheet and in order for hot lunch to continue, we need several more hot lunch parents.
Many parents look forward to Hot Lunch Wednesdays to give them a mid-week break from packing lunches!
Please consider joining our Parent Committee and/or our hot lunch program to be a part of this amazing community of students, teachers, support staff and parents. We need you!!
You can contact me via phone or text if you’re able to find the time to support our students & Parent Committee by volunteering a few hours per month.
