We are pleased to announce that we have received enough donations to cover the balance owing for Kalpana. Every contribution is appreciated, with a special shout out to a couple of our families who gave substantial donations!! Thank you all for being an important part of Kalpana’s story.

Thank you to everyone who gave a donation to our World Vision child sponsor, Kalpana. We have collected $245.30 of our $516.51 balance, leaving $271.21 still owing. So, if you were wanting to give but haven’t, it’s not too late; e-transfers may be sent to office. With each donation we receive, we become that much closer to our goal. Hello Families,

Our garbage pickup day is scheduled for this Thursday, May 11* with a fun activity afterwards. We would love some parent volunteers to help for part of the day so please let us know if you are available (walking or vehicle support). This is a great opportunity to give back to our community and support our school at the same time.

Please let us know how many extra yearbooks you would like and send the money for them by Friday, May 5th. The cost per yearbook is $25. We will accept e-transfer, cheque, or cash. A note that we do have school on May 1. SD 59 does not have school so there will be no bussing to Chetwynd but we will have a shuttle bus from Windrem to PCS and back at the end of the day. Parents of K-Gr 6 students need to pick up children from the Rec Centre after their swimming lessons at 2:35. Have a great weekend!

Hello Families,

April has sped by and is coming to a close. We enjoyed a puppet presentation during our chapel this morning so a big thank you to our Gr 9 & 10 students for their work to put it together with Pastor Neil.

Registration for Next Year: This Monday, May 1 will be the last day for the discounted cost for registering. For the next few days the cost is:
– K-Gr 5: $295
– Gr 6-9: $340
– Gr 10-12: $375

Swimming: A reminder for K – Gr 6 to bring swimwear on Monday for their swimming lessons every Mon/Wed/Fri for the next three weeks. Pickup will be at the Rec Centre at the end of the day.

Grad Planning Meetings: We are inviting our Gr 9 – 11 students and parents to meet with us for graduation and post-secondary planning. Please watch for an email regarding specifics.
