Friendly reminder upcoming bake sale.

Dear: Families, Parents & Guardians

As we approach the holiday season, we’re giving a friendly reminder that we’ll be hosting a festive bake sale on the evening of December 20th at the school – treats will be ready to purchase after the Christmas concert.

If you’re able to, we kindly ask that you consider baking some delicious treats to contribute to the bake sale. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated, and every contribution, big or small, will make a difference.

We warmly invite all family members who are able to donate their time and goodies to join us in this heartwarming event – please drop goodies off in the morning of the 20th to the school.

Together, let’s spread joy and holiday cheer while raising funds for PCS. Your participation will help make this event a sweet success!

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. We look forward to seeing you at concert and bake sale, and we’re grateful for your support.

Warm regards,
Rebecca

PCS Bake Sale

Dear Parents & Caregivers,

We hope this message finds you well. The PCS Parent Committee is delighted to announce that we will be hosting a fundraiser bake sale at this year’s Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 20th. In order to make this event a success, we are reaching out to all parents and caregivers who are able to contribute to this wonderful cause.

If you enjoy baking, we kindly ask if you could consider donating a dozen or two of your favorite holiday treats. Your delicious contributions will undoubtedly add a special touch to our fundraiser. Baked goods can be dropped off at PCS on the 19th and 20th in Ziploc bags or plastic containers. (The PAC will organize them into festive tins for sale on the evening of the Christmas concert.)

Your support and generosity will be greatly appreciated, and it will certainly contribute to the success of this event. We thank you in advance for your participation. Please respond if you are able to bake so that we can coordinate our efforts effectively. We sent a paper note home if you prefer to fill it out and send it back with your child to school – or you may respond to this email.

Warmly,

PCS Parent Committee

Holiday Shop on December 15th

A holiday shop gives our elementary students the opportunity to purchase gifts for the special people in their lives; allowing them to put a gift under their tree all by themselves. This is a merry experience for our students!

We are asking students to bring items to school that they would like to donate to the Holiday Shop. You may also want to ask friends and family members for contributions. The items should be gently used (but still in great condition) or new (still in packaging). Please keep in mind that students will be shopping for parents, grandparents or siblings so a wide range of items are appreciated.

Donations of wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper and tape are also needed as we will help the students wrap their gifts for their loved ones.

Students will purchase their gifts from the Holiday Shop on Friday, December 15, 2023 so please bring your donated items to the school by Thursday, December 14th. All gifts will sell for $1-2.

Students may take their wrapped gifts home on Friday, December 15th, but for those riding the bus, we will store their items until parents pick up at noon dismissal on Thursday, December 21st. Any leftover items will be donated to the Thrift Store.

If you have any questions, please call the school and ask for Mrs. Siller.

Thank you and happy holidays!

Friday Flash

Happy Friday, families!
I’m not sure about you but I feel like it should not yet be time for the Christmas season. Perhaps it’s partly due to the lack of whiteness outside. We are starting to create festivity at school and are looking forward to celebrating Jesus’ birth more this season.
Blessings,
Kristin Atherton
