Now logging in with a phone is now much more user friendly and class information can be easily found. We encourage you to give it a try and you can watch the Student & Family Portal Introduction Video which may be helpful. Please reach out if you need help with your password or sit down with your child and have them login beside you.

Hello Families,

I’m grateful for our team at PCS! We have a great group of teachers, staff, and admin and they held down the fort well this week. Please note the calendar items below. We also have Chillax (gym night) tomorrow night at 6:30 pm for those who want to come out and play sports in the gymnasium.

Wishing you a great weekend!

This verse reminds us that we are given strength, love, and clarity, not fear.

No Busses Today

Good morning,

Due to road conditions, there is no bussing today so we do not have in person classes. Please watch for information from teachers for at home learning. There will likely be supervision available at school for those who need assistance so please let your homeroom teacher know if you would like to access that.

Upper grade students, activities will be in the same documents as previously.

Hope to see everyone back tomorrow!

Helpers included Jenn Hook, Tara Rodenbush, Rose Ann Fontaine, Marilou Barredo, Lianna Hunter, Dejrah & Theo Chingee-Hunter, and Stacy Siller. • Online Calendar – Unsure of when something is happening? Check out our online calendar. It is accurate for our current plans although occasionally something does change as necessary as the year progresses.

Verse of the Week – Micah 6:8

"O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."

This verse reminds us that living justly and humbly brings harmony to our relationships.

No Classes Today

Families, due to continued road conditions, there is no bussing today, therefore we will not have in-person classes at PCS today.

Please watch for learning activities from your teacher via Bloomz or email.

Elementary: there will be a staff member at school for supervision if you need assistance today. Please let your homeroom teacher know if you want to access this option.

Gr 7-12 students: teachers will add new information to the same documents from yesterday.

Our plan is to see everyone back on Wednesday, November 12. Until then, stay safe out there!

No Classes Today

Good morning, parents. Due to road conditions, there will not be any busses today. Because the majority of our students use bussing to access school, PCS policy is that there are not in-person classes when the busses aren’t running.

K-Gr 4 students: If childcare today is difficult, please let your homeroom teacher know and we will do our best to accommodate your children at school.

Elementary families: We will send you an outline of recommended learning activities for today.

Gr 7-12 families: Work assigned for today will be emailed to students directly. Please have them check their emails and work on their assignments for each class today.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope to see everyone back tomorrow!

Hello Families,

The weeks roll along and we’re well into the groove of learning. I enjoy walking around school and seeing the various learning activities taking place, from preschool through Gr 12. It’s fun to see new skills being learned and knowledge gained.

As we go into the weekend, I encourage you to spend time in nature enjoying God’s creation with no snow for this last short while. I know at least a few who are wishing the snow upon us and others of us don’t mind if it delays awhile. Whatever your perspective, enjoy your weekend and the fall leaves!

Raising Digitally Responsible Youth

"Our current world climate is constantly connected to technology. What do we need to know as parents/caregivers to protect our children and teach them responsible and appropriate uses of technology? The parameters of rules and expectations that we put in place at home will undoubtedly guide our children’s sense of digital responsibility…..We want to prepare our children for their tech-infused futures and walk down this digital journey alongside them by staying informed.” Attached is a resource in order to help you do this.
