Friday Flash

Hello Families,

The energy in our building is ramping up as the warm weather continues. We are enjoying spring and taking activities outside when possible. We encourage you and your children to enjoy the outdoors as well during this lovely weather!

Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Atherton

This Coming Week

  • Mon Jun 1 – No School for Non-Instructional Day

Upcoming Events

  • June 2 – Scholastic orders due
  • June 19 – Graduation
  • June 23 – Awards (morning) & Class parties
  • June 24 – Lake Day & Last day of school

Good to Know

  • Garbage pickup is Thursday and we love to have parent/volunteer assistance. We participate in garbage pickup because caring for our community is part of who we are. When students help clean our shared spaces, they learn responsibility, teamwork, and respect for God’s creation. Small actions make a big difference, and we’re proud to do our part. Let one of our staff know if you’re able to help. Many hands make light work!
  • Plans are in the works for end of the year field trips. Please watch for permission slips coming home.
  • We are interviewing for Education Assistants and Janitorial support for next year. Please let us know if you would like to be considered.

Shout Outs

  • To Albert Nichols for assisting with time and equipment to deal with our monetary recycling.
  • To Norm Bunker for assisting with our garbage.
  • To our regular volunteers who come in to read, cook, or help in other ways around the school.

Verse of the Week – Isaiah 26:3-4

"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock."

This verse reminds us that peace comes from trusting deeply.
