Wednesday, December 19 @ 7pm A Christmas Carol – The Return of Scrooge – Come and enjoy a drama presentation including local talent of students, staff and community. Concession – proceeds go toward the mission trip.
Friday, December 21 – Noon Dismissal – Christmas Break begins. There will be no bus. Please plan to pick up your children.

Every Christmas season our students participate in a fundraiser for a chosen charity. This year, in keeping with the Christmas spirit of giving, we are asking for monetary donations for either, our World Vision child, Kalpana or the Philippines’ Mission Trip fund.
If you are able to support this please send donations to school with your child/ren by December 19. Tax receipts for donations of $20 or more will be issued.

December & January Events
Important Bus information: Snow Days & Non-scheduled Cancellations
Parents, please note if a snowday falls on a scheduled public school NID, your family will be notified by phone. On school days that the buses do not run because of weather, you must check the bus link on SD59 website under buses. You can also sign up on their site to receive email bus notifications. Peace Christian School will not make phone calls when SD59 buses are cancelled due to weather and road conditions. If SD59 buses have non-scheduled cancellations; PCS classes will also be cancelled.
Friday, December 7 @ 6:15 (students need to be early for caroling) – Moonlight Event at Spirit Park – All PCS students are encouraged to attend this community event. After the parade the students will be leading the community in Christmas carols with their choir director.

Wednesday, December 12 @ 2:45pm Volleyball Tryouts (grades 7-10)
Thursday, December 13 @ 7pm Christmas Choir Program at PCS in the chapel. Fundraising bake sale. Families welcome. Students arrive @ 6:45pm.
Saturday, December 15 @ 5-11pm @PCS Gym – Volleyball Night – Come and watch the fun competition and support this year’s grad class. Concession will be open. Everyone welcome.

Christmas Concert BAKESALE
Thursday, December 13
We are having a Bake Sale the evening of the Christmas Choir Concert. In order to make our bake sale a success, we are asking families to please bring a baked good item (one dozen per family). Please bring your item by 6:30pm on the night of the concert. Christmas Choir Concert starts @ 7pm. If more convenient, you can drop it off the day before (if it does not require refrigeration). Remember to only bring nut free items.
The sale will occur before the concert and for a short time after. Your help and support will make this a successful fundraiser!!!

Important Bus Notices
Wednesday & Thursday, November 21 & 22 – Early Dismissal – school will be dismissed @ 1:30 pm.
PCS shuttle bus will be running 1 hour earlier in the afternoon to make the connection with the public school buses. PCS shuttle bus students who do not ride the public school buses must be picked up at the high school by 1:55 pm. If your child does not ride the PCS shuttle bus please pick him/her up at PCS at 1:30 pm.
Thursday & Friday, November 22 & 23 – Bus will not be available for pickup until 8:15 am due to the driver covering another route first.

· This is a meeting for you as a parent to discuss your child’s progress with their teacher.
· If you did not receive an email with an appointment time please call the office.
· If possible please leave your child at home.
· There will be Student Led Interviews in the new year.
