Hello Parents and Families,

We have two upcoming events that we are excited to share with you!

Scholastic Book Fair

Our very first Scholastic Book Fair is happening next week from Wednesday, November 12th – Friday, November 14th!

At the Scholastic Book Fair, students will have an opportunity to browse and shop through a selection of Scholastic books, posters, and bookmarks with their class during an arranged shopping time. If a new treasure catches their eye, students can purchase and take it home that day. Please note that we are able to accept e-transfers (office) as a method of payment.

We would also like to invite parents and families to join us on Wednesday, November 12th from 2:30-6:00pm for our Family Event. This is the perfect time to do some browsing and shopping of your own! Plus, every family who stops by our Family Event can enter their name in the door prize to win FREE BOOKS for their family and for their child’s classroom!

In the meantime, please browse the flyer coming home today with students (K-8) to see some of the books that will be available next week!

Dear PCS Parents,

Just a quick reminder that our Parent Committee (PAC) meeting is tonight, Wednesday, at 5PM.

We will be meeting in person at PCS.

Your input is essential tonight as we finalize key decisions on:

• Fund Allocation
• Upcoming Fundraisers
• The Hot Lunch Program

Your participation directly benefits our students and helps strengthen the entire school community. We hope to see you there!

Dear PCS families,

Please let us know this week if you would like to purchase any extra yearbooks for your family. The parent committee is covering the cost of 1 yearbook per family. If you would like to order additional yearbooks so that each of your children can have their own copy, please email your order request to pac. The yearbooks are $28/book.

If you are ordering an extra yearbook, please email pac to let us know how many extra yearbooks you would like. When paying for the book, we will accept e-transfer, cheque, or cash. Cheques can be made out to “PCS Parent Committee” and e-transfers can be sent to pac. Thank you!

Our order is scheduled to arrive tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, April 30th. Please plan to pick up your items between 2:30-3:30PM. If you can’t make it, please contact the school to make other arrangements; text 250-788-2043 or phone 250-788-2044. We appreciate your cooperation with picking up your orders at short notice.

Our Parent Committee is looking for $6,000 in orders to qualify for free shipping. Hoping to meet this goal, we are now accepting orders until April 11. Please ask your friends and family if they would like to place an order.
