Hello Families,

One more full week of school and then a day and a half until the year is over! As usual, June is busy with tying up all the final pieces, as well as ensuring everything is set for next school year.

We invite you to attend our awards ceremony where we will celebrate the accomplishments of our students. Our K-Gr 12 ceremony will start at 10 am on Monday June 23, ending about 11:30 am. Grades and reports will be finalized this coming week, with report cards handed out at awards day. You are also invited to come out to Moberly Lake Provincial Park on June 24 for a morning of enjoying nature together as a school community.

  • Mon Jun 16 – K-Gr 6 fun swim – pick up at Rec Centre at 2:40 pm
  • Wed Jun 18 – K-Gr 4 Field trip to Hudson’s Hope
  • Thu Jun 19 – Gr 5-12 Field trip to Hudson’s Hope
  • Fri Jun 20
    • Gr 5-11 Hike up Baldy & to Little Prairie Museum
    • Gr 12 Graduation
  • Jun 23 – Awards, Class Parties & Report Cards
    • 9 am – Preschool
    • 10 am – K-Gr 6
    • About 10:30 – All school followed by Gr 7-12 specific
    • Class parties to follow
  • June 24 – Last day of school: half day at Moberly Lake. Pick up at Moberly at 12:15 pm or at bus stop outside Windrem at 12:30 pm
  • June 30 – Last day to save on re-enrollment costs

To Do

  • Ensure permission slips for field trips are returned to school as soon as possible.

Good to Know

  • We did our yearbook signing today and had fun looking at pictures from the year.
  • Most of our students are returning to PCS in the fall so thank you to all those that communicated their intentions. We look forward to welcoming our new Kindergarten students, as well as others joining us in a variety of grades.

Shout Outs

  • To our students who showed great organization skills in May: Cassy, Ferris, Micah, Shaynsa, Kody, Theo, Yiesha and Levi. Great job!
