This Coming Week

  • Mon Oct 9 – No School for Thanksgiving
  • Thu Oct 12 – Gr 5-8 Slumber Party – Please bring permission slips back on Tuesday

Looking Ahead

  • Oct 16 – Picture Day
  • Oct 16 – Scholastic orders due
  • Oct 19-22 – Jr Football Tournament to Kelowna
  • Oct 20 – No School for Non-Instructional Day
  • Weeks of Oct 23 & 30 – FSA testing for Gr 4 & 7 students
  • Nov 3 – Report cards handed out
  • Nov 11 – No School

To Do

  • Please park along the street (and not in the Windrem parking lot) when picking up your child(ren) from the bus. We want to be respectful of another school’s space.

Shout Outs

  • Our new parent committee executive and all those that came out to give input and support the group
  • Bunker family for hosting a field trip and sharing veggies as fresh as they come
  • Chelan Gordon for assisting with reading assessments

Good to Know

  • Our after school sports and care program have started off well with students enjoying the outside exercise and playing with friends.
  • Football skills are improving during PE and after school sports practice. We see increased speed and ability to play multiple positions.
  • Basketball is starting next week, as well as after school volleyball practice.
  • We took time the last two weeks to recognize Truth & Reconciliation Day and be grateful for the things we have. See our social media for a few pictures.
