School Has Started!

Hello Families,

Welcome to a new school year and the first day under our belts! We hope everyone had a great first day. We strive to be a learning and growing school so let us know if you have a question or concern. We are praying for all our PCS students and their families and we aim to be a blessing to your family this school year.

We’re trying a new format for helping our families stay up-to-date with what’s happening at PCS. Let us know how it works for you!

All the best for day 2!
Kristin/Mrs. Atherton

Week at a Glance

  • Wednesday – Different PCS shuttle bus (still regular time)

Looking Ahead

  • Tues Sep 12: Potential start to after school program. There was a lot of interest expressed so plans will be modified to accommodate. Watch for more info re payment and start date as we finalize plans.

  • Thur Sep 14: Gr 9-12 campout

Action Items

  • Elementary: please check your student’s agenda daily and sign off that you’ve seen it

  • Gr 9-12: Look for tents/sleeping bags and let us know at school if you’d like to borrow camping gear for next week

Shout Outs

  • To Josh Dowd for sponsoring additional digital pens for our Gr 7 & 8 classes

  • To all those who helped give our building a refresh before the school year, particularly including Mr. N Bunker, Mr. J Balane, Mrs. J Lepp and Mrs. J Disher

Good to Know

  • We enjoyed having all our students back in the building! Students started to get an idea of what the year would be like and teachers started to get to know their classes.

  • We are looking for someone to work part-time for an expanded student meal program. Specific times and details to be determined. Let us know if you’re interested or nominate a friend 🙂
